IT Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our growing IT Project Management team. This individual will be responsible for leading IT projects that will drive business value for the organization. This includes managing all project commitments, which will vary in size and complexity, to ensure they are completed with quality, on time, and within budget.

About the role
  • Develop and manage project plans to meet project goals while utilizing the agile project management framework
  • Ensure that project documentation is complete including project kickoff templates, project plans, roadmap milestones, requirements, design, testing, implementation, production cutover plans and logistics, policies and procedures, new standards, contacts, risk and issues lists, and status reports
  • Provide and develop innovative and workable solutions to a wide range of technical challenges and business opportunities
  • Formulate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for potential product candidates and coordinate product demonstrations
  • Build strong partnerships throughout the organization, to include business stakeholders and project teams
  • Responsible for alignment of project scope with stakeholders
  • Responsible for communicating project status to IT leadership and all stakeholders on a regular basis; ensure project dependencies, risks and issues are documented and communicated thoroughly
  • Seek opportunities to improve communication to meet customer and user needs


About you

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
  • Experience in project management and delivery of successful application or software development and infrastructure projects
  • Proficient knowledge of project management utilizing an Agile approach
  • Proven ability to lead, organize and coordinate efforts with others, and cross-functional teams
  • Must be a team player and can work with all levels of users and management
  • Jira Tool experience a plus


Experience
  • Minimum of five years in project management (IT project management preferred)
  • Previous experience working with business processes (in retail environments preferred)


Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field
  • Certified Associate in Project Management, Project Management Professional, or other credentials from the Project Management Institute preferred
