Refrigeration Technician

About the role

• Under minimal supervision, install, pipe, evacuate, and startup refrigeration cases, compressors, and related components.
• Pipe, fit, and weld copper refrigeration lines up to 4 1/8"
• Pressure check and evacuate all lines and related components.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all types of store refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and other store equipment.
• Identify energized circuit and voltage.
• Replace and repair contactors, starters, fuses, fan motors, and other HVAC-R electrical equipment.
• Perform and document routine preventative maintenance of store equipment.
• Partner with store management team members on maintenance of equipment

Experience

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with commercial refrigeration and HVAC
• Experience using Refrigeration control system. Emerson CPC preferred.

Education

• Vocational degree required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
