Food Production Recruiter

Dierbergs Markets is searching for a Talent Acquisition Partner to oversee and manage current and future staffing needs for assigned region. Manage all requisitions for region to include generating applicant flow through regular refreshes, posting, executing approved marketing campaigns and signage. Actively recruits, assesses and selects talent for production facility & store level roles. Primary point of contact for assigned production facilities and stores; partners with Lead Talent Acquisition Partner & Talent Acquisition Manager in evaluating needs and executing staffing strategies.

Essential Job Functions
  • Support and reinforce Dierbergs' company purpose - Grow Every Day while reinforcing the CPR model (Character --> Process --> Result)
  • Develop strong working partnerships with Facility/Store Directors to understand the business objectives and candidate requirements
  • Conduct regular follow-up with Facility & Store Directors to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans, forecast for future openings and educate store management on the realities of the applicant pool
  • Communicate with Facility & Store Associates regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate referrals
  • Develop and execute recruiting plans for the region
  • Responsible for reporting on team and posting performance by utilizing data and analytics through Applicant Tracking System and other resources
  • Oversee maintenance of job posting and recruitment focused signage in each store location within the region
  • Build networks in order to identify qualified candidates and establish a strong reputation for the company to attract new Associates
  • In partnership with the Lead Talent Acquisition Partner, works with the advertising department on visuals needed to execute recruiting plans
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Coordinate and implement college and high school recruiting initiatives and job fairs
  • Interview, screen, and select applicants who meet Dierbergs qualifications and standards to keep the company optimally staffed
  • Select, train, and develop a staff of In-Store/Facility Recruiters
  • Assist with new Associate orientations
  • Able to appropriately challenge the norms and promote a new way of doing things that contributes to the successful staffing of the region
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field of study preferred
  • Prior experience recruiting required, prior experience recruiting within food production, light industrial, manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Prior retail management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Self-directed, proactive and motivated

  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (Taleo experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be able to travel between various Dierbergs locations
